Christ, that's a bit of a schlep for a morning start.

How far away is it? I must confess, I haven't checked!

EDIT- Holy crap! It IS a bit of a schlep! Hmm, may have to arrive late on saturday instead and hope Yith doesn't piss me off. :giggle:

My Bro' is now coming to Alsos as well. :happyclap: As a bonus, looks like he'll be in Yith's squad! So, expect some "blue on blue" if Yith displays his usual leadership qualities.

I see Yith's being purposely provocative and obtuse as usual.

Clearly trying to give the impression that the game is poorly organised.

Tit.

It'll certainly go to rat shit once Yith dips his "commander" oar in!

Edit - oops! I thought you were talking about Alsos! I didn't realise that the pompous prick was talking about Boryszyn! What a tool. He hasn't even booked yet and is sticking his poke in. Must be his PMT kicking in. :ghey:

I suppose at least there will be some pyro available, as I am a firm believer that a CQB game without pyro is too dangerous for me and I'd not be attending.

Jesus H Fucking Christ. Is that the kind of limp wristed faggot we're breeding in this country these days? Fucking hell, I bet he doesn't even cross the road without a full risk assessment and mummy and daddy holding his hands.

I've broken 2 fingers, 1 toe, 1 arm (twice), busted nose, dislocated my right thumb, had my shoulder slashed down to the bone on razor wire, chunk taken out of my lower leg right down to the bone, dislocated shoulder, had my two front teeth snapped when kicked in the face playing Rugby, cracked two ribs, fractured my jaw, nearly drowned when kayaking, slashed across the arm by a cunt in Reading with a stanley knife who was trying to mug me - and i'd do most of those activities that caused those injuries again without a second thought (barring the last, obviously. Then again, that fucker got what he deserved  )

And that cunt thinks that CQB without pyro is "too dangerous".

Please, just please, let me bayonet him.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

I'll be going after him big time at Alsos (if my character role allows it). Also, my Bro' has promised to blue on blue him as often as possible as well!

Don't forget my Bro' has a Tanaka SAA. On a warm day, it will do 400fps on green!

I notice Harborne Blue is playing on your team at ALSOS Pete. Would be interested to know what he's like. He's a mouthy opinionated little knob on here......and an FB regular.

It will be interesting to see if this game works. I've seen the brief and it doesn't look good - they have spent a lot of time on talking about authentic meals and trip mines but given scant regard to the game plan. Martin hasn't understood how Gadge's 'tree' thing works (outcome of one game determines next game played) and not much thought hasn't been given to the flow of the game. I pointed out that a third faction was a complication for a first game attempt and in any case, there was no purpose to the civies being there. Martin has tweaked things a bit but still has civies split in identity, swapping ID from game to game and no clear reason to the main sides for having civvies there. Much as at Varsity - civvies may well have had a good time but it didn't contribute greatly to the big picture.

They have put themselves in charge of squads instead of leaving themselves free as 'commanders' to look after the game and bizarrely the most experienced game organiser has been relegated to the kitchen!

I foresee much use of radios during the day as they frantically try to adapt to unfolding events. Heyho, the weather will be nice. And I could be completely wrong and everyone has a ball (and I hope they do).

Sounds great!

I helped run a three faction game a while back and the team that inevitably get sandwiched between the other two tend to get mullered and start complaining....

Anyone else noticed he gets less and less Germans for each game? Once players encounter cock company, they don't come back.

Indeed.

Oh, and the grammatically correct adjective would be 'fewer and fewer' not 'less and less'. ;) :ghey:

Just had a look at Fatbear's 'The World At War' website, particularly his WW2 Airsoft section....... http://www.theworldatwar.info/ww2airsoft.html

Talks about an 'Outpost' game and Op Haggard, but nary a mention of CiA or any of the other existing event organisers. :slap:
